Abstract

Pleomorphic adenomas which usually involve major salivary glands are the most common type of the salivary gland tumors and account for 70-80% of benign salivary gland tumors. Minor salivary gland tumors are localized mostly at hard or soft palate, followed by upper lip. The rarest involvement site is buccal mucosa. The clinical presentation of pleomorphic adenomas is painless and slow-growing solid masses. Surgical resection is recommended treatment. In this article, we present a 73-year-old male case with a pleomorphic adenoma located in the buccal region.
